Fairness

"Fairness"
   by Luke Putz

What is life's greatest lie?
We say that life is fair.
And even though we try,
Nobody stops to stare.
Eventually we die,
Not one will stop to care,
Nor will as they pass by,
Can say "well that's not fair."

  1. “Who says life is fair, where is that written?”
― William Goldman, The Princess Bride
Your poem reminded me of that quote.
